The Bleeding Sun

So we had an awesome sunset last night...our sun turned blood red from all the smoke from the wildfires in our country...our horizon was hazy and the sun looked like it had been dipped in blood.

My camera failed...yet again...to catch the sun's color...here it is pink. But I have never, EVER, seen the sun that color of red before...it was truly awesome but a little frightening at the same time.
